we bought my wifes corolla with 80k km on it and we ran 5w30 signature blend and did 25k km oil changes with a filter at the halfway mark, car made it to 400k kms and then was taken out by a suicidal deer. im pretty confident it would have made 800k kms before needing replacement. Her car seen 120 km a day to work and back. My other far is a Jetta TDI bought it with 112k km on it and we used amsoil euro blend from day one, doing 20k km oil changes with a oil filter halfway through, its not at 475k km on the odometer, with no issues. I love amsoil products they truly do make your engines live longer.

Don't be cheap, change your oil every 5000 miles

That filter is not even dirty as much, I don't even see Scotty opening a transmission pan just to change transmission fluid

I switched from Motor Craft oil to Amsoil oil and the truck got 1.2 miles per gallon more. I don't care about saving that small amount of gas but I think it`s better because I get that milage from less friction. Less friction means less wear on the engine.

Actually some filters (MB 7 and 9 gtronic) uses a t layers filter, using paper like media. These filters need to be changed!😮

In Australia Toyota uses 0W20 in the Hilux 2.8 turbo diesel and service interval is 10,000kms or 6 months which ever comes first

Do I have to flush the transmission fluid before adding new one?

I use this at every fill up with on Hemi truck and use the PI every 4K miles. Along with that I use the Amsoil Signature series oil. I bought my truck used it’s a 2021 Ram 1500 Studies prove this stuff works. It’s worth its weight in gold. Thank for sharing

Hi. I bought a brand new 2023 Tacoma last year and It has only 500 miles.If i switch to Amsoil signature low viscosity atf, will it void my factory warranty?

I’ve been using 1 bottle of P.I. every 4-6 months at every oil change for 6 years. I initially tried it to combat pinging. I think the recommended dose is 1 bottle every 4,000 miles. (6437 kms.) Less detonation at low speed after use. I then use 1 bottle of Amsoil Upper Cylinder Lubricant with the P.I. Then one bottle of U.C.L. for every tank afterwards. P.I. is the “deep clean” and the U.C.L. is the “keep clean” they claim. It works for me. No check engine light, quiet smooth acceleration. It’s cost effective to use once you become an Amsoil Preferred Customer.

Also, indirect injection (IDI) engines help a lot. I stay away from direct injection (GDI) engines because of their inherent problem of carbon build-up. Terrible design.

Use the oil that's recommended by the manuals. If manuals recommend Conventional 5W-30 . Use it. Don't use any synthetic oil.

Hello! My Gen 2 is burning oil and I want to change out the pistons and rings. Would you suggest this as a solution? I understand that you don't think these redesigned pistons and rings actually do anything. Are there pistons and rings in the aftermarket that you would suggest? Thank you.

I have had this oil in my car for 1 year and 12000 km and I am planning to keep it for another year. 25000 should be doable.

I use full synthetic 20w50, have since first oil change.

I just passed 1,000,000 miles on my 1989 Chevy truck...I only use AMSOIL Signature Series in the engine ....I use AMSOIL in the transmission and rear end..the proof is there..only use AMSOIL

How many times did it take for you to get clean power steering fluid? This is next on the list of changing out all fluids.

Does the subscription to the Toyota repair manual allow you to download as much data you want during the subscription time or is there limitation? I plan to do the 2 day subscription and start downloading all that I think I will need.

I maintain many cars and trucks of various makes and models. My experience is that 0W-20 oils work ok for a while here in South Carolina, but for some reason even with frequent enough oil changes, it becomes apparent that these engines start consuming significant oil in every case, and when it gets high enough, I switch them up to 5W-20 HM full syn or 5W-30 HM full syn. This seems to keep oil consumption at a tolerable rate. We are testing Valvoline's Restore and Protect in a few engines that consume oil. Valvoline says that 4 full oil change cycles will have the pistons, rings, and entire engine back to 100% clean. If so, we should be able to roll back oil consumption and use the oem recommended oil again perhaps. We might just have to try out some Amsoil Signature when it's all done.👍🏼

What’s with people bashing motorcraft stuff like oil? I’ve been using it forever as well not synthetic blend or full synthetic just normal oil no issues ever but since I got a new truck it’s strictly full synthetic
